Alrighty-then...another week has (nearly) passed and Friday is upon us. UP ON us. As in, up in this bitch.
I, for one, will neither question the manner in which the blanket of freedom that I peacefully slumber under is provided, nor will I insult our parents, grandparents and forefather's by not enjoying the very hard-won liberties they struggled so dearly to gain on our behalf!
I would like to suggest that it is our manly (and where appropriate, womanly) duty to respond. It is incumbent upon (heh) us to rise to the challenge, collectively descend upon (heh) a predetermined location and consume various spirits and libations.
We will fight the tyranny of the work week and revel in the joyous occasion that is FRIDAY!

Was gonna post but you beat me to it. I vote we go back for a Redhook night. I like the other choices, but I think we need to spend some time with our old friends at the hook who miss us, plus there may be one or two others coming that will likely expect us there. So there you have it: I vote drink to the blanket of freedom at the hook... :)

Tami and I will have Taylor this weekend so a bar bar is out per se, etc, etc. I do like the idea of Prost, but......

So with that said, I voted for the Hook.
OK well seriously the fireplace will not be available Friday at the Hook just so everyone knows. There will ba aparty of about 12-18 there starting at 3:30. So that leaves a long table by the window in the cold.
We were inundated with family members last weekend, and had to be on our best Nazarene behavior. As you can imagine my hands are jittering and I'm walking crooked from lack of gettin' my drinks on. So I vote NOT Redhook. I needs somethin' stronger than the hops and some unaffiliated and unadulterated servers. Hmmm...
First vote is for Prost, second is for Diamond Knot.
I'm totally down with Prost, but question: do they have liquor there or just beer?

Diamond Knot sounds like a good alternative to me, but it's kinda small. I think y'all should hit Prost, and drink a liter for me.

Hey dammit! Before anyone claims that anything was usurped. I saw Al, Jake, Tim and Colleen at coffee this morning. None of them were interested in going downtown. Because of planning this weekend, I also *can't* go to Greenlake. Didn't mean to imply that no one else could.
Since some people *are* going to RedHook, I relayed this information to Eric and Paul.

Well, ok, before everyone gets all pissy: Obviously some people are going to RedHook and some were at least planning on going to Prost then somewhere else for Drinky-Drinks.

Tim and Colleen may have a different time frame but we love them for coming out. Scott will meet us there, and that leaves Eric Keely Paul and my self to get there from here after work.
