Alright lets get this going!

There has been lots of talk off and on about going to Seattle. Well we all know what "Seattle" has to offer, so lets look at some you might not have known. Here are a few places I'd like to RE check out, except Duchess never been there. I was Think of having a bit of a pub crawl to keep the fun rolling. Starting at the North lake Tavern for the best pizza I have had, and then moving to the Tin Hat for some more beers. After that I'm open and honestly other than dieing for some pizza I'm also pretty open before that.

In loving memory... 1998-2008

This week, FridayBeers (starting at Redhook) is going to be at least partially devoted to being a memorial remembrance dedicated to our wonderful family member and faithful companion, Bianca, whom we lost on Wednesday. It was fairly unexpected but she went peacefully in her sleep during the night and I don't think she was in an inordinate amount of pain. Ironically, Monday the 17th was her (estimated) 10th birthday. She will be very dearly missed. We love you Bianca... RIP.

Here and not coming back...

Well kids, since half the gang has left for warmer climes and more picturesque locales, possibly for good, and the rest of us are variously otherwise indisposed with other engagements and/or just plain not feeling well, I do believe FB will be taking a buy week here... Certainly no doubt to return in some way next week, once we know for sure whether or not we have lost to love in the South Pacific core members of the crew... ;)

Taking a break this week

Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know that Tami and I will be taking a break this week. It seems like a good time to tsince half our crew is in Hawaii getting freakin married and also because I've wanted to conserve budget-wise this week. By no means am I suggesting that no one else should go. Thanks! Please proceed with your regularly scheduled programs.

OK gang, another week, another Friday. And this Friday we do what we do every Friday: We. Drink. Beer. Back at Redhook, the usual place, usual time. Hope y'all can make it! And BTW, this is completely unrelated, but pretty goddamn funny...

It's been a while since we've kicked it at our usual haunt. Unless there is a protest, lets "Hook" up tonight at the end of the long and hard work day (ya right!) and toast to our health and happiness!

It's Friday again, and the stress is left at the office. Come down to the River town Ale House for some good drinks and good food. Seating is tight and selection is limited so if you don't leave a comment that you will be stopping bye you may just be left sitting on the curb with a cup of water...

A Red Hook Friday...

Well, kids, it's that time again! It's Friday, and you know what that means... Our favorite day mixed with our favorite drink at our favorite location for drinking it. Elizabeth says she will be there for a bit if we make it in early enough and we haven't had a beer in days, so tonite is the night - all the cool kids hang at the Hook....

A German-Beer Friday!

Yay! Another Friday, another beer (or three)! Something new and different this week, I think we are going to do downtown... The plan is to take off at about 4:30 and head to Red Mill Burgers for some good eats first, followed by Prost, a lovely-looking little German beer joint. If and when we get tired of that, and/or want to kick it up a notch there is a "really cool" margarita bar just across the street from there. Maps are here and here for reference. See ya there!

A chilly, chilly Friday...

Brrrrr! So what's the plan this evening everyone? Anyone have any ideas? There was talk about going back over to The Parlor. Pool is fun and that place was nice (albeit their drinks are pretty watered... But hey, this is Friday BEERS so...). We mentioned bowling again, we could give that a shot if anyone is interested. Or we can always do the old standby, which is OK by me... Let's get a little chatter going (and not our teeth!) and get some input on who all is going and where we want to drink tonight.

A few Man Laws for a Friday night

Since no one else will post anything and I was the last to post I dont want to hear squat about this not being beer related. It's from a beer commercial and its friday now... It applies.

It's Friday Again!

And we know what that means... Friday Beers! Tonight will be a special edition of FridayBeers because our good friend and comrade Neal is in town and today is his birthday! We will be starting off at our regular location at Red Hook for some food and pre-funk and then we will migrate to another bar that includes pool and real alcohol to continue the merriment. Be sure to tell your friends and coworkers and bring as many people as possible so we can wish Neal well on his *cough* 40-something-th *cough* birthday!

Friday July 14th 2006,
So there we were sitting at the bar drinking our beer talking our talk. This guy comes in and says, "There's something happening here, What it is ain't exactly clear" ... So there we were looking all around trying to figure out what this drunk bastard was talking about. Then he pipes up with "There's a man with a gun over there, Telling me I got to beware" and we are like holy Fuck your kidding, everyone ducks and heads for the floor.
About this time I wake up and realize I had passed out on the bench outside Redhook, and everyone else was gone except this creepy looking cook guy whom I'm pretty sure was a little bit lonelier then I like, staring at me asking if I'm OK and do I want him to call a cab for me. Anyway long story short if you don't make it out to Redhook for Friday beers tonight your gonna be left sleeping on a bench with a horny cook staring at you at 2 am in the morning.

Wow! Crazy shit i tell ya; 3-4 day weekends last week, 4th of July celebrations, Drinking much beer at lunch, and it all culminates with a good time at Redhook this Friday. I hope you can make it, there are bound to be girls, beer, and plenty of great stories.
I think the Friday movies at Redhook are over now, but coming soon is Thursday movies on the grass which is just a hoot!
Okay well other then talking about my moms new watch or my dads new self leveling laser pointer I really have nothing else to add, except be there drink beer and have fun!
